She began her healthcare journey in 1984, after completing General Nursing training at Gosford District Hospital. Over the next 12 years, she gained extensive experience in hospital settings, private nursing, palliative care, and international healthcare, including a tenure in Saudi Arabia. In 1996, she qualified as a Naturopath at NatureCare College, Sydney, and later obtained a Certificate in Female Sexual Health from NSW Family Planning in 1998.

The service is set to expand, incorporating female health support and comprehensive nutrient level assessments.
After completing her medical degree at the University of Newcastle in 2021 and obtaining her General Registration, Ann-Mary joined The Health Lodge in Byron Bay in 2023. There, she collaborates with a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, naturopaths, nutritionists, and psychologists, to provide comprehensive and integrative patient care.
Ann-Mary has played a pivotal role in advancing medical nutrition and intravenous therapy in Australia. As a longstanding member of the Biological Therapies support network and the Australasian College of Medical Nutrition, she has contributed to training programs and the development of safety guidelines for IV nutrient therapies. She also supports emerging clinics by providing expertise in setting up safe and professional intravenous therapy services.
An esteemed educator, Ann-Mary has been involved with the Australasian College of Nutritional & Environmental Medicine (ACNEM) since 1999, serving as a presenter, Education Committee member, and later as Education Coordinator in 2007. Her contributions have been instrumental in shaping integrative medical education. She has also worked internationally, helping to establish integrative medicine programs in Thailand,
Malaysia, and India.
Beyond medicine, Ann-Mary has a background in the fitness industry, completing fitness leader training in 1989 and specialising in Aquarobics. She has presented at national and international conferences and contributed to the development of educational materials in the field.
